Rural and Regional Development Support to the Republic of Serbia
Programme is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation – SDC, and implemented by the consortium of partners composed of NIRAS (Poland, Denmark), Polish Rural Forum (Poland) and Partner Solutions (Serbia), in close cooperation with the national key partners Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection (MoAEP), Ministry of Economy (MoE), Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) and Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM).
Directly involved in the project implementation are two functional regions: 1 – Sremski and Macvanski Districts, 2 – Kolubarski and Sumadijski Districts. The Programme implementation is from November 2015 until January 2019. The overall budget is CHF 3.699.700, out of which CHF 1.620.000 are allocated for the financing of rural-regional initiatives.
Capacity Development Services to Local Self-Governments in the Area of Local Economic Development
Contracted by GIZ, Partner Solutions provides within the SDC and BMZ funded programme Municipal Economic Development in Eastern Serbia tailor made assistance to local self-governments in eastern Serbia.
Within this mandate the focus is given to consultancy provision and capacity development measures to foster the local tax administrations, municipal financial departments, local administration as a whole, the departments for urbanism and local economic development offices with the aim to improve service delivery to the public and private sector.
